Today is the last day of Lilikoi week! I had soo much fun showing you these beautiful unique dresses! This British Columbia label is truly one of a kind, however they are supplying their dresses to over 65 locations across the country! Due to the long weekend, the last Lilikoi posting will take place tomorrow on Saturday! So, after today there is still one more gorgeous Lilikoi dress to look at!! Today we explore the Market Day dress, that retails for $125. It is also available in turquoise and black, seen above in a luxurious chocolate! Absolutely adore the beautiful printing on this rayon from bamboo fabric.
Today we look at the Lilikoi Sunflower dress! Available in the gorgeous red seen above, also found in grey and black.. The Lilikoi women’s clothing line has a strong emphasis on hand beautiful colorful printed cloth. Each print is an original drawing created by designer Barbara Boswell, it is then transferred to a silk screen. The fabric is hand printed at the Lilikoi studio in Nelson, British Columbia. The word “lilikoi” means passion fruit in Hawaii. To designer Barbara Boswell “lilikoi” means just that : the fruit of her passion for design. Barbara learned to sew as a child, and has carried the love of these traditions with her all her life!
Welcome to Day TWO of British Columbia label - Lilikoi week! Today we look at the bold green Gingko sundress that retails for $145. I once again am in love with this color, as well as the unique art that adorns this dress entirely! This is the perfect sundress for any occasion this coming summer!
Today’s gorgeous Lilikoi dress, is the Lotus Dress that retails for $170 and is made from a bamboo rayon/organic cotton blend. This material is so comfortable and easy to wear! Each beautiful and colorful print seen on all the dresses this week are an original drawing transferred to silk screen. The individual prints are used for limited production runs, ensuring the beauty and uniqueness of each piece. The fabric is hand printed at the Lilikoi studio in Nelson, British Columbia.
